Willow Creek is a multifamily residential community in New Mexico featuring a coordinated collection of three-story apartment buildings with covered entries, private balconies, and dedicated parking. The project focuses on maintaining and strengthening exterior systems while preserving a consistent residential appearance across the community.
The design concept combines practical Southwestern multifamily architecture with bold visual accents. Warm red and neutral stucco finishes create contrast across the façades, while recessed balconies, simple rooflines, dark metal railings, and coordinated trim establish a recognizable and cohesive community identity.
The project supports long-term sustainability by maintaining and extending the service life of existing exterior components rather than replacing functional systems unnecessarily. Durable finishes and targeted repairs can reduce future maintenance demands, material consumption, and construction waste.
Building-envelope improvements also help protect residential interiors from New Mexico’s intense sunlight, dry conditions, wind, and seasonal temperature fluctuations.
Interior improvements support comfortable, functional apartment living while coordinating with the broader renovation of the property. Durable materials and practical residential layouts help create spaces designed for everyday use, straightforward maintenance, and long-term resident comfort.
