This project involved the installation of a complete commercial roofing system for a newly constructed student housing development in Kennesaw, GA. The roofing scope was designed and executed to meet the long-term performance needs of a high-occupancy residential property, ensuring durability, energy efficiency, and reliable waterproofing from day one.
Coordination with the general contractor, multiple trades, and the project schedule was essential as roofing installation occurred concurrently with ongoing construction activities across the site.
Key project highlights:
The roofing system was engineered to support the modern design requirements of new student housing—prioritizing durability, energy efficiency, and compatibility with extensive rooftop mechanical infrastructure.
The white TPO membrane provides superior UV resistance, helping manage heat absorption during Georgia’s intense summers while contributing to LEED-aligned energy performance targets. The tapered insulation package was custom-designed to support proper drainage across the building’s varied roof sections.
